It is my belief that a person choosing to better understand themselves, come to acceptance about their life’s challenges, and improve the quality of their life and relationships through therapy has already begun to succeed by taking the first step. Change is difficult to accept and to welcome into our own lives; it is my honor to hold space for clients to practice this. My therapeutic approach is collaborative and focuses on clients’ strengths. I hope to guide you along your path, no matter where you find yourself on it right now.
I have worked with children, teens, and adults experiencing grief, anxiety, behavioral challenges, depression, life transitions, struggling with a sense of self, and more. My work has been focused on building reliable client-clinician relationships, understanding my clients and their goals for our work, and utilizing our space and resources to move closer to those goals. I implement evidence-based practice in my work, primarily using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT for youth, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). In all the work we do together, I aim to provide a safe and empowering environment for you to discover and move towards your most authentic and healthiest self. Through this effort, it is possible to show up for yourself, others, and your life as the best you that you can be.
