Lexiey Goldman
Mental Health Counselor
Specialties: Trauma, Anxiety, Neurodivergence, Identity Development, and Life Transitions
Works with Children, Adolescents, Young Adults, and LGBTQ+ Individuals
My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped by my experiences as a special education
teacher, Reiki Master, and Registered Yoga Teacher, each one deepening my belief in the
restorative power of connection. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply
searching for a place to be understood, you deserve a space where you can show up exactly as
you are.
Healing is deeply personal, and I believe it often requires more than talking alone. My approach
is holistic, person-centered, and eclectic. Sometimes healing happens through conversation, but
other times we may need more than words; we may need to blow bubbles, play in the sand,
paint, move our bodies, or simply connect with our breath.
I am passionate about working with children, adolescents, and young adults navigating trauma,
anxiety, neurodivergence, identity development, and life's many transitions. I also enjoy working
with LGBTQ+ individuals and strive to create an affirming space where clients feel safe to
explore who they are without judgment. My work is informed by play therapy, somatic therapy, DBT, narrative therapy, ecotherapy, the expressive arts, and Polyvagal Theory, and I have a growing interest in trauma processing, particularly EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
As I continue my professional training, I am currently an intern completing my Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling at Hofstra University, with an anticipated graduation in December 2026.
I believe that stories, when shared in safe spaces, can breathe life back into us. Whether you’re
searching for healing, clarity, or simply a place to laugh, play, and be, it would be my honor to walk alongside you.
